 How we captured Jameson HOSTS Global Summit in real-time creative photography

The Ask

To support the largest brand-led bartender community summit in the world with lifestyle focused photography, delivered in real time while the event is taking place. The Jameson HOSTS Global Summit is a premiere hospitality event hosted in Midleton, County Cork once per year. Influencers, Industry Leaders, and Brand Experts are gathered together in an environment that fosters community growth, celebration, and innovation.

As Jameson HOSTS’ primary brand and lifestyle photography agency, we’ve produced photography for the Summit for three consecutive years, delivering year on year improvements in global impressions. In 2025, we recognised an opportunity to improve yet again on our results with our content strategy.

We took it a step further than in previous years, aiming to create a one of a kind event that becomes the most shared, re-watched, and interacted bartending experience on the planet.

We intended to extend the event itself far beyond its three day physical presence, by digitally extending the experience through content-driven photography.

The Approach

To achieve our lofty goals, we crafted a photography led performance marketing strategy that incorporated every aspect of the event itself. The photography will become how people who are not present physically, could feel as if they were, all optimised to reach the most impressions at the most optimal times.

High-Volume, High-Impact Social Media Content Strategy

Ahead of the Summit, our team developed a suite of photography-first promotional assets, including branded stills, speaker portraits, and nostalgia-driven image edits drawn from previous Global Summits. This visual build-up ensured strong anticipation and generated a lead time to craft a consistent photographic language before the event even began.

Across the three-day programme, we designed a smart capture and distribution workflow centred on still imagery, treating photography as the primary storytelling tool. Our high-volume visual ecosystem was structured around two core pillars: The Event, covering talks, workshops, the competition final, keynotes, live moments, and behind-the-scenes access and The Guests, including bartenders, speakers, influencers, judges, brand representatives, and community members, documented through portraits, candid moments, visual micro-stories, and environmental details.

Our bespoke photography-led strategy included:

  • A multi-pillar visual approach prioritising key moments, atmosphere, and the people who shaped the experience.
  • A live social publishing cadence powered by high-impact stills, supported by a post-summit editorial image library for ongoing use.
  • Real-time image selection, editing, captioning, publishing, and community engagement.
  • Collaborative image capture with speakers and influencers, enabling immediate sharing and amplification across their own channels.
  • A strong, brand-first, HOSTS-specific photographic world, with a visual tone rooted in Jameson’s storytelling heritage and crafted for long-term brand value.

The Outcome

Throughout the entire process, we maintained constant communication with the brand manager to ensure every piece of content reflected the right tone, accuracy, and brand identity.

The impact was immediate. So far, the Summit content has generated:

  • 600,000+ social media impressions, all organic.
  • 1,000+ new followers
  • Strong engagement from bartenders, operators, and industry leaders around the world. 

But beyond the numbers, the real success lies in how the content extended the Summit’s energy far beyond the event itself, strengthening Jameson HOSTS’ position as a global community hub and building long-term digital momentum that will carry forward throughout the year.

Our Role

To deliver this high-volume, high-impact visual output at scale, we built an on-site production team tailored to the rhythm and demands of the Global Summit. The team consisted of lead and roaming photographers supported by videographers for complementary motion capture, a real-time editor, a dedicated off-site graphic designer, and a social media manager and producer overseeing approvals, workflows, client communication, live publishing, and community engagement.

This was supported by a custom operational workflow designed for speed, consistency, and coverage:

  • Pre-approved visual styles, captions, and content formats.
  • A fast upload–select–edit–publish pipeline for near-instant turnaround.
  • Branded portrait setups and interview environments designed for efficient, repeatable capture.
  • Cloud-based asset management enabling immediate access across teams and stakeholders.
  • Agile photographers assigned to specific zones to ensure complete 360° coverage of the event.

This photography-led operating model allowed us to document the Summit from every angle to capture scale, detail, and emotion, delivering a volume and immediacy of visual storytelling that traditional professional photography services simply cannot achieve.
