To create the Jameson Black Barrel Bartender Series and scale the competition globally, the ask was to design a platform that not only celebrated local bartending talent but also promoted Jameson Black Barrel as a versatile whiskey for cocktail creation. The challenge was to build an annual event that would resonate with bartenders worldwide, driving both engagement and brand prestige.
The Outcome:
For three years, we have shaped the Jameson Black Barrel Bartender Series into a renowned global competition. From managing logistics to promoting the event on platforms like Instagram and Meta, we established the competition as a cornerstone in the bartending community. Participation has doubled year on year, with over 300 entries in 2023 alone.
Judged by prominent industry figures, the competition celebrates creativity and provides significant exposure for participants. The competition has garnered over 400,000 views in 2023, further boosting the competition’s reach.
